This year’s Sixers and Seconders Camp again took place at the Gladstone Centre, Hawarden but a little later in the year, 19th – 21st November.

It may have been cold but there was still plenty of fun to be had. We were very lucky this weekend because the rain held off, the wind didn’t blow and the sun shone occasionally. The following weekend was bitterly cold – Dave chose well.

The camp consisted of lots of activities including pioneering, backwoods cooking, fire lighting, axe, saw and knife safety and abseiling. Unfortunately the abseiling was cut short (not the line) and not everyone had a go. There was plenty of good food, bingo, campfire entertainment and sporting activity to keep all occupied the whole weekend.

I didn’t get chance to take photos of all the bases so if anyone else has some they’d like to share please let me know and I’ll come and collect or email reduced photos no more than 800 × 800 please.
