OPAL Climate Survey

Here’s something enjoyable and useful to do. Take part in the OPAL Climate Survey.

We discussed it with the Cubs at the last Pack meeting.

Log on to http://www.opalexplorenature.org/ (or find it on the Links page) and follow the Climate Survey links.

You’ll learn how to recognise cloud types and plot their direction of travel. Make a bubble cone and bubble solution and use it to measure wind direction and speed at person height. Look for aircraft contrails.
