On Monday 21st September we had a visit from Sandra and Nugget with Fiona Whitelaw from the Hearing Dogs charity.

Sandra introduced Nugget to the Cubs and explained how Nugget helps her at home as well as out and about. All the Cubs were able to make a fuss of Nugget who enjoyed the attention. Fiona showed a DVD which explained how the dogs are chosen, trained and placed in homes where they will be much valued companions. The Cubs had question sheets about the DVD they’d seen and prizes were awarded.
The Cubs’ behaviour was excellent. They all listened intently, asked very pertinent questions and tried hard with the quiz. Well done Pack and thanks!
