On Sunday 29th November the District Conker Competition was held at 1st Rhyl Scout HQ. Dave Beard, ADC Cubs, had spent hours drilling and stringing the conkers for the event – thanks Dave.

All of the Cubs enjoyed the experience. It was a knockout competition and gradually winners from each round went on to compete in the next until we had achampion.

1st Rhyl came first, 6th Prestatyn second and 1st Rhyl were also third.
Thanks and well done to the Cubs who turned up, they all went home with a pocket full of conkers and no doubt got the rest of the family to play.
