What a fantastic event! Held over 2 90minute sessions on Saturday 10th December, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and their families were treated to an experience to remember. Everyone who attended got to the chance to meet and handle creatures they would previously have thought to avoid at all costs.
Simon Airey brought along a collection of unusual animals for all to meet. The presentation was packed with facts and loads of humour and the kids (big and small) enjoyed every minute. I wonder what these creatures thought of us – we had a choice about handling them.
