Cubs – Water Gun Night 2014

Tonight, the 10th July 2014, was our annual Water Gun and hot dogs night. All the cubs brought in their water guns and we had some fun relay games of collecting water bombs & passing soaking wet sponges. After playing the games we had a giant water fight which included the leaders. We all got drenched to the bone, some more than others.
Fun was had by all

Oliver awarded Chief Scout’s Silver Award

On his last night at Cubs, Oliver received the highest award available in the Cub Scout Section, the Chief Scout’s Silver Award.
To gain this award, Oliver completed the requirements of the Creative, Community, Fitness, Global, Outdoor and Promise Challenge Badges. He will be able to proudly wear this new badge on his Scout uniform until he completes the Gold Award. Oliver goes up to Scouts after half term along with two other Cubs, Charlie and Joe.  Torin is also leaving Cubs but other commitments prevent him attending Scouts. They are all a credit to the Group and we hope they enjoy Scouting as much as they did Cubs.

Have a wonderful and safe summer. See you all in September.
