Cadwch Gymru’n Daclus / Keep Wales Tidy Wednesday 26th May Prestatyn Beach Car Park beside the Nova.
Cubs and Scouts, brothers and sisters, parents and friends took part. This was an opportunity to enjoy a walk along the beach at Prestatyn and help make a difference to its appearance. We took part in an event one Saturday afternoon in September last year (see Beach Litter Pick page) but this year we were able to make use of one of the lighter evenings in May.
Once again, Gareth Jones from Keep Wales Tidy provided the necessary equipment and advice before we started. It seemed like it might be a cool evening but turned out to be very pleasant. We cleared more rubbish than expected and the stretch of prom between the Nova and Ffrith was gleaming when we left.
